What's Available?

Community Volunteers

Spend time weekly in one of our day programs or residential programs and ensure participants are engaged in their community! The possibilities are endless!

Fundraising / Special Events Volunteers

Need volunteer hours or want to gain experience in the fundraising field? Join one of our fundraising committees or help out at one of our events.

Student Placements

Community Living Burlington accepts students from various colleges & universities in the Halton/Peel/Hamilton/GTA. Students can apply classroom experience towards career choices and post-graduate studies. Students will develop new skills, new opportunities for networking, and new friendships.

We work in partnership with Mohawk College and Sheridan College, as well as CDI College, DeGroot School of Business, Evergreen College, Fanshawe College, Loyalist College, McMaster University, Nipissing University, Oxford College, Seneca College, University of Guelph/Humber, and York University. 

* To embark on this enriching journey, we encourage interested students to reach out to their dedicated field placement specialist within their respective enrolled university or college. These specialists are equipped to provide tailored guidance, ensuring students can seamlessly integrate into the Community Living Burlington experience.

Corporate Volunteers

Corporate volunteers are an integral part of volunteerism at Community Living Burlington. A group of employees come together, roll up their sleeves and get to work painting, cleaning up a garden or working on a specialized project. The works that they do help enrich the quality of life of people who have a developmental disability and help create endless possibilities.
